Active Shooter Incidents

With the active shooter incident at the University of Texas, it reinforces the need for preparedness and training in advance of these tragic events. Due to the increase in such occurrences, many facilities have introduced procedures for dealing with these incidents. One aspect being considered by facility management teams is to have armed security on-site for an immediate response to the threat. Off duty police officers are the perfect solution. Police officers are highly trained and will have instant communications with responding on-duty police officers.
