Keeping Your Business Safe During the COVID-19 Pandemic

At Off Duty Services, we’re always dedicated to doing our part to protect our customers, family members, and communities. During this unprecedented time, we want to remind our clients that our security team is still here to help keep you, your business, and your loved ones safe during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We know that the stories on the news and what you’re seeing online about COVID-19 sound dire. However, we believe that we can all get through this together.

Keeping Our Security Team & Customers Safe

We understand that you may be concerned about having our officers on-site as this could increase risk for exposure. We are taking every precaution to ensure our team members are healthy and limit risk of exposure for our customers. Our law enforcement officers are observing social distancing protocols to the best of their abilities when working off duty, and they are making every effort to shelter-in-place when they’re not protecting our customers. When on the job, our officers are following CDC recommended safety regulations, including washing hands frequently, using hand sanitizer or wearing disposable gloves when hand washing isn’t possible, and avoiding close contact with anyone showing signs of COVID-19.

Keeping Yourself & Businesses Safe

At Off Duty Services, we’re proud to offer security services to keep people safe, but in this difficult time, some of the most important safety precautions are things you can do yourself to protect everyone in your family, business, and community. Don’t forget to stay up to date with all the latest recommendations from the CDC, including the following top tips for COVID-19 prevention:

  • Clean your hands often – washing for at least 20 seconds at a time with soap and water
  • Avoid close contact – social distance and shelter-in-place aside from essential needs
  • Cover your mouth and nose – use a cloth cover when around other people
  • Cover coughs and sneezes – use a tissue to cover coughs and sneezes and discard it immediately
  • Clean surface – clean and disinfect surfaces that are frequently touched
